Terms and Conditions (AGB)
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Gizu MedEsthetics Academy and every student who enrols in or accesses the academy's online courses.

1. Scope and parties
These Terms govern every contract between Gizuskin ("Gizuskin", "we", "us", the "academy") and the person who enrols in or accesses the academy's online courses ("you", the "student"). By creating an account, completing a purchase, or accessing course content, you agree to these Terms. If you act on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation; if you act as an individual, you confirm that you are of legal age in your country.
2. Conclusion of the contract
The presentation of courses on the website is an invitation to make an offer. You submit an offer by completing the checkout. The contract is concluded when your order is confirmed and access is granted to your account. You will receive an order confirmation by email.
3. Course content and changes
Gizuskin provides educational content for skin-care professionals. We may improve, update, or modify lessons, videos, downloads and tools to keep the course current with best practice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability and do not promise any specific commercial or treatment outcome. The course is educational and does not replace local licensing or medical supervision where required.
4. Prices, payment and invoicing
All prices are stated at checkout in the displayed currency and include applicable taxes where required. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are additionally governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).
5. Student obligations
You will provide accurate registration information, keep your login credentials confidential, and use the academy lawfully. You must not: share or resell access; circumvent technical limits; upload malware; scrape or copy course materials; or use the service to infringe intellectual property, defame, harass, or harm others. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
6. Intellectual property
All course materials, including videos, audio, PDFs, images, software, branding and certificates, are owned by Gizuskin or its licensors and protected by copyright and related rights. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the materials for your own professional learning during the access period. All other rights are reserved. Details are set out in our Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access in the event of material breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, infringement of intellectual property, or repeated or serious violations of our policies. Where possible we will notify you and give you a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach. Statutory termination rights remain unaffected.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gizuskin's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the course is limited to the fees you paid for the course in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, intent, gross negligence, injury to life or body, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Implied warranties are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Applicable law, jurisdiction and severability
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you reside remain unaffected. If a provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected; the invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the economic intent of the parties.
